A Digital Engineering Technician provides support to digital engineers and specialists in completing complex tasks using digital engineering techniques. Further producing detailed solutions to optimise the performance of built environment projects.
This programme contains two sub sections depending on the nature of the apprentice’s employer i.e. Civil Engineering (CET) & Construction and the Built Environment (DET). The Learners will gain a broad understanding of technologies and materials used in modern day construction, site surveying, and setting out skills alongside with subject-specific mathematics, Manual and CAD Drawing skills, Health & safety in Construction, Building Regulations, Resolving challenges in construction projects, Advance mathematical skills. Curriculum intent: there are 7 Mandatory and 3 Optional by discussion and reflective of apprentice job role.
When you have achieved this qualification, you have a choice of going on to further learning and can apply to University to study a range of qualifications within the construction and Built Environment sector;
