Entry requirements: 5 GCSE's Grade 5 and above including GCSE Grade 5 in English and Maths.
T Levels are a new qualification developed in collaboration with employers.
Every T Level includes an industry placement with an employer focused on developing the practical and technical skills required for entry into the digital production industry. Placements will last a minimum of 315 hours (approximately 45 days) and take the form of either a block, day release or a mixture of both.
Course Description
The core element of the T-level in Digital Production, Design and Development will allow you to develop your knowledge and understanding of a wide range of topics such as programming, coding, data usage and various distribution platforms in the digital industry.
The course has been designed to deliver a high level of knowledge about the Digital Production, Design and Development industry as well as the occupational skills required to enter the industry (known as ‘threshold competence’). A learner who completes this qualification is well placed to develop to full occupational competence with the correct support and training.

In addition to the core content learners will complete a collaborative component with Industry involvement:
- Create an artefact such as an app, website or data services
- Apply a logical approach to solving problems, identifying and fixing defects and proposing software solutions
