Zack from Google virtually visited our year nine business and enterprise learners to judge their group presentations. Our learners were tasked to get into teams, develop their own innovative business ideas and pitch this idea after preparing a presentation.
As Zack is a Machine Learning Engineer and Developer Advocate for perhaps the most innovative company of our age, he was the perfect judge this project. 
In preparation for this Employer Led Project, learners had a masterclass from Zack on innovation, generating ideas and presentation skills. They then had four weeks to work on their business proposal and presentation.
Our learners came up with a range of ideas, including a classroom translation app, a convenience and accessibility company and a streaming service. As a team, learners pitched their ideas making sure to employ the presentation skills they had learnt in Zack’s masterclass.
Following their presentation, Zack offered the learners valuable feedback on improving their presentation. They were also questioned about their business proposal in order to develop, challenge and improve their ideas.
