Our year 12 learners were virtually visited by Imtiaz from Pathway CTM for a session exploring the career opportunities they have available.
Pathway CTM, an award-winning social enterprise, is dedicated to revolutionising employment training, support, and opportunities for schools and students. Pathway CTM have visited our college on a number of occasions, where they have conducted insightful masterclasses and organised apprenticeship events.
During the session, Pathway CTM presented an array of services tailored to empower young individuals in shaping their vocational aspirations. These services include free employer events spanning various industry sectors, accessible through both virtual and in-person sessions. Additionally, they highlighted apprenticeship opportunities available across the UK, providing direct application avenues. The organisation also offers valuable 1-1 mentoring sessions to guide students through the apprenticeship application process and provides free online employability resources such as CV and cover letter workshops. Furthermore, Pathway CTM facilitates diverse work experience opportunities, both virtual and in-person.
Imtiaz engaged our learners by discussing the immersive nature of these opportunities, outlining what to expect when participating. The session was enriched with exciting case studies and testimonials from young individuals who had previously benefited from the program, creating an inspiring and informative experience for our learners.
‘It was an insightful session on learning about what I could do and all the different paths I can take to achieve the career I want,’ Joden, year 12 learner.
