Teacher Talks at the Bett Show

As a UTC that is able to demonstrate outstanding use of technology and successful projects with major technology partners, James, our Assistant Principal (Digital Learning & Innovation) was invited to co-deliver the Intel Tech in Action panel at the BETT Show 2023.

Bett’s mission is ‘to spark ideas, create connections and accelerate trade, driving impact and improving outcomes for teachers and learners.’

James talked about how the UTC maximises its relations with employer partners, creates successful projects with entities such as Escape Studios, Industrial Light & Magic and Promethean and highlighted a heart-warming project culminating in one of our learners Rosie having the opportunity to design a virtual digital royal Cypher and present it to the King himself!

As part of our teacher development CPD we are working with Intel to deliver the Skills For Innovation Program (SFI) which is a perfect fit to maintain our digital transformation and ensure we offer a relevant technological experience for our learners.

‘Having such amazing learners, staff and exciting projects makes my job easy when talking about tech in action! Thank you to Intel, what a great opportunity to highlight our work,’ James.
