John, a leading commentator on the aviation industry, recently delivered an masterclass to our aviation students, focusing on airline network planning.

With over 40 years of experience in the aviation industry, John, the Director of JLS Consulting, provided students with a comprehensive insight into this complex field. 

Network planning is a process of designing an airline's flight schedule to maximize profitability and satisfy traveler demand.

John's masterclass began with his personal journey into the aviation industry, emphasising the passion that drove his career. This personal touch resonated with our learners, as they were fascinated to hear all his experiences and about the passion, he has had for aviation from such a young age. 

Drawing from his extensive industry expertise, John delved into the intricacies of network planning, explaining the multifaceted factors that influence flight scheduling decisions. He not only introduced the theoretical foundations but also shared practical insights, enriching the learners' understanding of the aviation landscape.
