Bridging the Digital Divide: The London Institute of Banking & Finance Donates 150 Laptops to the college

We were delighted to welcome a group of students from The London Institute of Banking & Finance's (LIBF) Leadership program to our college who generously donated 150 laptops to our college, which will greatly benefit our learners. As the students from LIBF arrived our learners eagerly awaited the opportunity to showcase their college and engage in meaningful conversations with their guests.

The London Institute of Banking & Finance, established in 1879, is a renowned institution that provides education and training in the field of finance globally. Their visit was a testament to their commitment to supporting educational initiatives.

The day commenced with an introductory talk about our college delivered by Vice Principal Victoria, highlighting our aims, focuses, and the importance of bridging the digital divide.

Following the introductory talk, learners from various subjects, including Art, Design and Technology, Engineering, Digital Media, and Mechatronics, took the opportunity to showcase their work to our visitors. Each learner demonstrated how the laptops would enhance their educational experience and provide them with valuable tools to excel in their respective fields.

The tour of our college was a vibrant and interactive experience. Learners engaged in lively discussions with the LIBF students, sharing their ambitions, exchanging ideas, and showcasing their achievements. It was truly inspirational to witness young people from the local community come together, united by their passion for learning and their drive to succeed.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to LIBF for their thoughtful donation and for taking the time to visit our learners. The 150 laptops will make a lasting impact on the lives of our learners, equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in the digital age.
