Year 12's Master LinkedIn with Ramboll's Talent Acquisition Expert

Mona, a professional working in Talent Acquisition at Ramboll, recently conducted a masterclass for our year 12 learners providing guidance on how to utilise LinkedIn as a valuable tool to support their career aspirations.

Ramboll, founded in Denmark in 1945, is a renowned global architecture, engineering, and consultancy company. With a team of 16,500 experts, Ramboll focuses on creating sustainable solutions across various sectors, including Buildings, Transport, Energy, Environment & Health, Water, Management Consulting, and Architecture & Landscape.

LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network on the internet, offering a wide range of opportunities for individuals to connect with employers and exhibit their skills and abilities for potential job roles.

Mona commenced the session by sharing insights into her own job role and professional experiences, highlighting the relevance of LinkedIn in her field. She emphasised how LinkedIn can be leveraged to establish and expand professional networks, connect with individuals who are relevant to one's career interests, publish engaging content, and explore job opportunities.

Given her background as a recruiter, Mona provided invaluable perspectives on what recruiters typically seek and specifically search for when considering potential candidates for employment. Her first-hand knowledge offered valuable insights for learners looking to make a strong impression on potential employers.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where learners had the opportunity to ask specific questions related to their own profiles and career paths. This personalized engagement allowed for a deeper understanding of how learners can optimise their LinkedIn profiles and utilise the platform effectively.

We extend our gratitude to Mona for delivering such a valuable session that undoubtedly equipped our learners with essential knowledge and strategies as they pursue their career aspirations.
