Independent Study
We use Satchel:One, a simple online solution for learners and parents to view independent study details and upcoming deadlines.
Satchel:One will allow you to see the details of the tasks your child has been set, all their deadlines and their submission status and grades. We use this system to ensure effective communicate with parents and it give parents greater visibility into the independent study work we set.
Parents will be provided with login details to a personal account which is linked to their child’s independent study calendar where they are able to see their child’s To-do List and any independent study that is overdue. These logins will be sent out mid September but in the meantime, parents are still able to view all work set.
How do I access Satchel:One?
To view all homework set without login details please visit teamsatchel.com. Please note you will need to use the filter options at the top of the page to find your child’s homework.

The app
Please download the Satchel:One app once you receive your login details, you will then be sent push notifications to let you know what homework is due. You will also be notified of grades, overdue homework and announcements/events.
For learners:
- Download the mobile app
- Enter London Design and Engineering UTC in the search field
- Sign in with Office 365 and follow the on-screen instructions to gain access.
You only need to sign in once! All details will be remembered.
For parents:
- Download the mobile app
- Enter the code provided
- Follow the on screen instructions, making sure you use an active email address
- If you already have an account, go to the Edit Profile section of your account and enter this code into the box to link to this student
